We share great great grandparents. Theodore was my great grandmothers brother. She was Elizabeth Catherine Doerr. She passed before I was born but I have seen pictures of her. She has three remaining children alive (July 2020). You may ready know this. Unfortunately the Doerr family reunion had to be cancelled this year because of Covid 19. Thank you for preserving this history of our family.

Thanks Tiffany. It's so fun to connect with other family members. If you have any other stories to share about them, I'd love to hear them.
Pat :)

Thankyou for the wonderful story! Your information made sense of all of the war stories uncle bill would tell us as young Kids! He was a wonderful man! He married my great aunt Ruth (my grandmas sister). I really enjoyed the fish story given by john about my aunt Ruth! I was one of the kids that would go out there to the lake on Sundays every now and then! Aunt Ruth and uncle bill truly were amazing! I miss them so much! And yes.....they LOVED their beer....they would hire me to crush all empty cans to bag up for recycle.
