Genealogy Research Toolbox

This Genealogy “Toolbox” includes hundreds of sources for your genealogy research, broken down by Category, US States and Countries.  This is a living “Toolbox” that I am adding to as I can. I am currently working on getting the US States, and have added two countries, that were used in my own research.  The states include important Genealogy info, such as when they began recording births, deaths and marriages; what census years are available and links to state resources.

Feel free to bookmark this page to use this Genealogy Research Toolbox. Recommendations for additional resources are welcome.

Thank you to Thomas MacEntee for sharing his Genealogy Research Toolbox that he graciously allowed us to copy. This toolbox is based on his research toolbox for genealogists and family historians as taught in the class “Build a Research Toolbox” by Thomas MacEntee, of High-Definition Genealogy. I have added many of my own links and will continue to do so.

I welcome recommendations from others and add them as appropriate.

Feel free to bookmark this page to assist you in your own research.

Pat Burns 🙂
